WELCOME TO THE ADULT BUSINESS SUMMIT 2004

The Adult Business Summit 2004 (ABS04) is all about 'Sex and Business in the Third Millennium'. Adult businesses in Australia are emerging as mainstream legitimate businesses, many linked to Australia's future growth.

Over the years, adult social and political needs and values have changed significantly. Adult businesses are changing to meet these challenges

There are two ways for the adult industry to grow and develop; the first is for each industry participant to grow their internal capacities and the second is by enhancing the performance of the industry at large.

This summit aims to facilitate the cross fertilization of ideas, enable participants to make connections and share experiences - ultimately, it aims to build and capitalize on our collective knowledge and capability in order to influence better decision-making processes, policies & legislation.

The principle objectives of this summit are:

• Providing a forum for debate over issues affecting adults, particularly relating to Adult Business

• Focusing on research and development

• Facilitating local, national and international commitments to enhance policymaking and communication with all participants.
